Iran’s comedy ‘Dubland’ to go online

Coronavirus outbreak changes screening plans for Iranian comedy ‘Dubland’.

Iranian comedy ‘Dubland’ has been scheduled to get an online screening due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Although it is announced that the movie, directed and produced by Ebrahim Ebrahimian, will have an online premiere, the time for the screening has not been decided yet.

‘Dubland’ is the story of Leni Bergasasco, the main character of the movie who has been tricked by seven people for better part of his life. All their trickery and greed has destroyed his soul and body. Now, on his 50th birthday his dog, Dubi, will avenge him for his birthday present.

The script for the flick has been written by Sara Soltani.

Mehdi Koushki, husband of ‘Father’ actress Reyhaneh Parsa, is the Iranian cast member of the flick.

The Georgian cast members include Dimitri Tatishvili, Ana Matuashvili, Beka Turmanidze, Salome Paghava, Lasha Kankava, Sopo Sebiskveradze and Tengiz Avalishvili.

The Persia Film Distribution company is in charge of the movie’s distribution.
